Mini-Christmas Program
This program will be pretty short and should be over by 9:30am! We hope to see you there!
Parking Lot Caroling - December 15
This year, the Knights of Columbus are hosting a soup dinner before caroling, so you can stop in and grab dinner for the whole family, too! This is such a fun, low key way to celebrate the Christmas season. You can decorate your car, bring your candles and jingle bells, stop by for the soup dinner - OR - just show up and sing along! I know you won't regret taking some time out of your evening for this fun filled event!
All School Skating Party - December 16
Students are invited to wear "Christmas Spirit Attire", jeans, athletic pants, or uniform pants. They can wear Santa hats, reindeer ears, etc.
All students should have come home with a permission slip last week, so please be sure to sign and return your child's permission slip Monday, December 13.
Advent Season at St. Patrick School
Our message and activities this week were:
December 6: Today is St. Nicholaus Day! What did the students find in their shoes???
December 7: Joseph and Mary traveled long and far before Jesus was born. Draw your own Nativity scene today.
December 9: Many people in our world are grieving loved ones today. With your class, say a prayer for all those who have lost loved ones this year.
December 10: Go out of your way to be nice to someone today. Ask someone new to hang out with you at recess or to sit with you at lunch.

St. Patrick Early Childhood Center - Important Information
Dear St. Patrick Community,
It is with great sadness and regret that I inform you we will be closing our Early Childhood Center at St. Patrick effective December 16, 2021.
There are many reasons for this decision being made at this time. Among them are the continued fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic (many still working from home and keeping their children home), the lack of competent, trained, and available personnel and the ability to adequately compensate them, and the ever-increasing competition we have with other Centers in the Northland that keep us from reaching an adequate enrollment.
I wish to thank Lilly Winkeljohn for her efforts of the last few years to make our Childhood Center a safe, engaging, and fun place for children to be.
I always want to thank you, our parents, who have supported us over the years and entrusted your young children to us.
We hope to do some restructuring in the school over the next several months to allow for a pre-kindergarten class. We will keep you informed as soon as we are able to offer openings in this class.
As the paster, in the name of the St. Patrick Parish community, I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause any of you.
Father Matthew Brumleve
