I know that 2020 has been quite an adventure and has affected each and every one of us. I hope that over the next couple weeks everyone is able to enjoy time together to reflect on some of the good things that have come of a unique time in our lives. I am looking forward to seeing all of the students again in person come the new year.

7th grade GREEN team has opened up the season with a record of 3 -0. They have been playing well on both sides of the ball, given the circumstances. Many Mustangs through the first two games have combined in adding in steals, rebounds and assists throughout. Storm Miller has been absolutely dominant averaging 24 points, 9 rebounds and 5 steals a game with shooting 50% from the floor and 85% from the line. Sami Fares has been an animal as well defensively, ranking second on the team with 5 total steals through 2 games.
7th grade WHITE team has been demonstrating their discipline on and off of the floor. The guys have been grinding in practice every day despite recent losses. Every Friday, we ask players to go home and do something nice for their families, and we receive a plethora of emails explaining the good deeds the players did at home.
8th grade boys basketball team opened up their season Monday with a 49-33 win against Rocky River. Brayden Wypasek led the way with 13 while Josh Byers added an efficient 12. On Thursday the boys handled Elyria 59-19 to earn their first home win. Led by Aiden Murray with 12, it was a complete team win dominating both sides of the floor. The Mustangs head into the break 3-0 on the season with a jam packed January coming up.
