Book Review by Jaylyn Shelton

Shiver is a captivating romance novel about two star crossed lover fighting the cold that threatens to tear them apart. The two main character, Grace and Sam, must survive the whole winter without Sam shifting into a werewolf. If Sam were to get to cold and shift he would never be able to be human again. Grace and Sam were very believable characters, they both had they're flaws and struggles throughout the book and their personalities worked well together.

I was able to relate to Sam's personality more because he is very creative and he has a passion for art and music whereas Grace is a neat and orderly person. Although I can relate more to Sam personality wise I can relate to Grace's sense independence from her parents and basically taking care of herself. Shiver is definitely one of my favorite books. I've read it three times and I still love it just as much as the very first time I picked it up. My favorite part of the book is where Sam finds out about Beck's new recruits for the pack. If I could change anything in this book I would show more of the interactions between Grace, Rachel, and Olivia.

I would recommend this book for people who enjoy romance novels and books with mythical creatures. Shiver is a good book for teens and it's mainly aimed at the female audience but some males would enjoy it too.
