Book Review by Jaylyn Shelton
I was able to relate to Sam's personality more because he is very creative and he has a passion for art and music whereas Grace is a neat and orderly person. Although I can relate more to Sam personality wise I can relate to Grace's sense independence from her parents and basically taking care of herself. Shiver is definitely one of my favorite books. I've read it three times and I still love it just as much as the very first time I picked it up. My favorite part of the book is where Sam finds out about Beck's new recruits for the pack. If I could change anything in this book I would show more of the interactions between Grace, Rachel, and Olivia.
I would recommend this book for people who enjoy romance novels and books with mythical creatures. Shiver is a good book for teens and it's mainly aimed at the female audience but some males would enjoy it too.
Grace was bitten when she was a child but she never turned into a wolf. She spend every year after that watching the wolves.
Sam is the wolf who saved Grace. He silently protected her for years after the attack and even after they met when he was human.
The werewolves are forced to spend every winter in Boundary Woods as wolves. The cold weather keeps them trapped in they're wolf body and each year they get less time to be human until they are finally just stuck as wolves.
