Peek at the Week

Harbins Days is coming soon! Remember that we are selling tickets now . The class with the most pre-sale tickets receives a pizza party. We are extending the deadline until Wednesday, October 7. We have so many awesome things planned such as me kissing a pig! No one wants to miss that!
Please make sure you have visited our website and clicked on the link for the parent survey. This information is crucial to understanding how well we are meeting your needs.
This week, we will be starting several new clubs that will meet in the morning. If you are dropping your child off for a morning club, please use the inside lane of the bus lane and only let your child out on the sidewalk side. Remember that staff members and their families are also entering that lot. It is important that we watch out for each other for everyone's safety. Drive slowly! Thank you!
Remember that if you pick your child up in the car rider lane, you must wait in your car with your number displayed at all times. This is for the safety of all our children.
We continue to enjoy teaching the 7 Habits through our Leadership Academy Conference. Student leaders from Archer High School have been with us for the kick-off each time, and they have done an amazing job working with our children and showing how important leadership is. We are ARCHER!!
Looking forward to another great week. It is GREAT to be a Harbins Tiger!

We will open the lunchroom up for visitors beginning October 13. Please know that we do not have much extra space due to our increased numbers.
On November 3, 2015, Gwinnett voters will be asked to consider continuing the E-SPLOST (education special purpose local option sales tax).
Important Clinic News
Parents,
Please DO NOT send any kind of medicine or Natural Oils to school with your child. The oils are considered a medicine by the county, so they need to be kept in the clinic with the proper forms. This includes cough drops, tylenol, Benedryl, any kind of creams (calamine, Benadryl, neosporin, or toothache gel) or inhalers. All of these must be kept in the clinic. A parent must bring these in and fill out the correct paperwork. Any questions please call Ms. Samples in the clinic. 770-682-4272.

Safety Reminder
Teachers and staff are engaged with children from 7:45 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. Please help us preserve that time. We ask that if you need to speak with a staff member, you set up a time with that person. This way, we can ensure we are devoting our attention to the children in the building and making sure we meet your needs.
