A Note from Ms. Davis
Dear Families,
Fall officially begins on Monday, September 23, and that's right around the corner! It's one of my favorite times of the year. When the days are not as hot, our students get to enjoy playing and learning outside. We have settled into the routines of school and the excitement of learning is in the air.
Examples of learning and student growth abound as students are exposed to new content. I love seeing pictures or hearing the cheers from classrooms as students support each other in their learning journey and celebrate individual growth.
The end of our first reporting term ends on Friday, October 18 - that's just 4 weeks away! Parents of students in grades Kindergarten through 3 will receive a standards-based report card on Wednesday, October 23 that will look different that what we have used in the past. Would you be interested in attending a session about the new report cards and learning more about standards-based grading? If so, please click this link https://forms.gle/Xiu6tQHS2hfWjZeXA and let me know more. The survey will ask which of 4 dates, what time of day, and which meeting format is best for you.
Sincerely,
Cindy Davis,
Principal
