Q2. Can I share an entire collection with my district/school? It is a little time consuming to share each one individually but if I can share an entire collection then I will certainly share all I'm creating.
Answer from Seesaw: There is not currently a way to assign multiple Seesaw Activities to students at once or to share an entire collection to the School / District Library, although these are great suggestions!

Q3. Right now my activities page is a pretty long feed. I have math, reading, and other activities posted. I am wondering if I can organize them into folders somehow. I have them "tagged" and in folders but I want to change the student's view so that when they click on activities they can click into the "Math" activities, the "reading" activities, the "other" activities, etc.
Answer from Teacher: Aaaaaand when in the app view I see the "filter" option at the top of the activities. So basically that solves my problem.
Comment from Jim: If you have not used the filter options in Seesaw, make sure you give them a try. There are many things that you can filter that will save you time and help pinpoint what you are looking for.

Q4. I have a Seesaw question for you. I assigned an activity. Then I edited the activity AFTER I assigned it. The edits did not sync with the activity in my library but I want the version of the activity that I assigned. I can't figure out how to save that activity back to my library.
Answer from teacher: If other teachers are wanting to do the same thing, they can just click "get student link", "get teacher share link," and then visit that link themselves. From there you can add the activity to your library and then delete the original.

Q5. Is there a way to set the landing account that students will view when they log into their Seesaw account? We would like to have the students land on their homeroom teacher's page and not on art, music, physical education, etc. teacher's pages.
Answer from Jim and Seesaw: I received a question from an AM Attendance teacher about her students defaulting to different classes than AM Attendance (homeroom) when they access their Seesaw account. This can cause issues for younger students trying to find their homeroom class.
I contacted Seesaw to see if there is a way to have AM Attendance be the default landing page for students. While there isn't an admin setting or a setting on your end that can accomplish this, they do provide a work-around that may fit the bill.
Here is the recommendation from Seesaw on what to do:
"Seesaw orders classes alphabetically. In order to put the students' homeroom at the top of their page (and the default one it opens to), I would recommend having teachers change their homeroom name to have an asterisk in front (*Ms. Doe). This will bump the class to the top of the student's list."
To give your class a nickname that allows the asterisk to be added: Click the wrench icon in the upper right in your Seesaw account > click Class name > Change the name of your class but make sure your name is included in the new name. Don't forget to add an asterisk at the beginning of your new class name. If you have already changed the name of your AM Attendance class, follow the above steps and simply add an asterisk as the first character of the name.
Now, to make sure this works, ONLY TEACHERS WHO TEACH AN AM ATTENDANCE CLASS SHOULD DO THIS. If you teach Art, PE, Music, etc., do not add the asterisk.
I hope that helps and will benefit both you and the students. Thanks so much for asking questions, everybody. It benefits all of us!!!
