Just Six Days Of School Remain!
With the 2022-23 school year days away from coming to a close on June 9th, this is our last newsletter of the school year so please read these final events and updates.
We look forward to a successful end of year and continuing learning with about 150 students during the summer!

After School Program Registration Mandatory Meeting: June 2
Registration for next year's expanded learning program (after school program) opened at 9:00am on May 31st. In order to register, a parent/guardian must attend a parent/guardian orientation. If you missed the previous orientations, your last chance to attend an orientation will be on June 2nd at 4:30pm via zoom. You are required to pre-register for this event. This required orientation is for Anna Yates families interested in registering for the 2023-2024 Expanded Learning Program but missed the previous orientations. You will receive information on the program design and major program policies. You will not be permitted to join the meeting after the first 10 minutes and you will be required to turn on your camera. Spanish and Arabic translation is not confirmed. If you need translation or a special accommodation, please email Ms. Gray at cgray@emeryville.org or call the front desk at 510-596-4395.

Kindergarten Celebration: June 6 at 9:00 a.m.
Below are the details for our simple and fun celebration on Tuesday, June 6 at 9:00 a.m. in Building A:
- Students are able to wear free dress clothing.
- Students should attend school at our regular 8:30 a.m. start time and report to their classroom.
- For all guests, entrance into event will not begin until 8:30 a.m.; earlier access will not be allowed
- Please be mindful to exit from the Front Entrance or the Building A exits
- Please do not bring items that any items block the view of other families
- Please be mindful of this being an indoor event and space being limited
- Students are allowed to be signed out after the promotion, please just sign the binder in the office before leaving.
Fifth Grade Promotion: June 7 at 12:30 p.m.
Below are the details for our simple and fun celebration on Wednesday, June 7 at 12:30 p.m. in Building A:
- Student attire is semi formal attire; a nice top and bottom is perfect.
- Students can attend school at our regular 8:30 a.m. start time but they must be at school not later than 11:45 a.m. Attendance will be taken at 11:45 a.m. and students will meet us in the lobby
- For all guests, entrance into event will not begin until 12:00 p.m.; earlier access will not be allowed
- Please be mindful to exit from the Front Entrance or the Building A exits
- Please do not bring items that any items block the view of other families
- Please be mindful of this being an indoor event and space being limited
