Childcare Hubs for Elementary Students - Available to All Staff and Families

Child care hubs will be available, with limited space, at most elementary school campuses. The AM/PM schedule will coincide with your child's AM/PM learning schedule and will be available during the students’ asynchronous learning time. Child care hub hours of operation will be 8:15 am to 3:55 pm. To be considered for enrollment, parents must submit the electronic form below.


As many families' learning model confirmations may be predicated on securing childcare, TVUSD's Childcare Department will confirm your child care enrollment status, based on space availability, by Thursday, February 25, to allow families to complete the learning confirmation survey by Friday, February 26.


If you are interested in childcare as part of your child's on-campus learning model, please complete the registration form below as soon as possible. If a program at one site reaches capacity for some reason, we will make every effort to contact the parent needing childcare to discuss options at other sites that may be available.


The application window closes on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, to ensure notifications by

Thursday, February 25.

REQUIRED Time-Sensitve Training - Animals at School - Due Wednesday, February 24, 2021

Please click on the link to access the updated form, video, and documents. The review will take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Please add your name and information to the Google Form, and you are done! For those that tried on Friday and added their names, you will need to complete the form again. Apologies.

Voluntary COVID Testing - Week of February 22nd

This week, a Risk Management team member will be at four sites during set days and times handing out voluntary self-administered COVID tests. You will take the test right when you pick it up and the Risk Management employee will collect the completed test. You may also come to Risk Management (Building #24) this week between 7:30 am - 4:30 pm any day during the week to take the test.


As a reminder, please be sure to self-screen for symptoms using the self-assessment form. Per our processes and protocols, if you are experiencing those symptoms, you should not be reporting to any of our District facilities, including not reporting for testing.


Instructions are attached on how to complete the self-administered COVID test. We will have these instructions available on the day of the testing as well. Prior to testing, please complete the attached patient consent form and provide a copy of the front and back of your insurance card if this is your first time testing with PMH Laboratories. If you are uninsured, the attached paperwork is provided with instructions. If you are unable to make copies, we can assist you at the site.


Here are the dates and times for this week's voluntary self-administered COVID testings (please see the tabs at the bottom for each school sign up):


Tuesday, 2/23/21 Nicolas Valley Elementary School from 1:30-2:15pm

Tuesday, 2/23/21 Bella Vista Middle School from 2:30-3:15pm

Thursday 2/25/21 Red Hawk Elementary School from 1:30-2:15pm

Thursday 2/25/21 Pauba Valley Elementary School from 2;30-3:15pm


All testings will be done outside the front office at the sites. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Extension of Previously Expired COVID Leave

Elementary Model Confirmation Survey Distributed to TVUSD Elementary Families

All TVUSD elementary families will receive an email today, Monday, February 22, providing them the opportunity to confirm their previously selected learning model or change their preference for the remainder of the current school year. All elementary families and staff also received communication over the weekend from their elementary school with site-specific health and safety protocols. Elementary families have until Friday, February 26, 2021, to confirm their model selections. As a reminder, secondary information and communication will be distributed within the next few weeks.
