Automotive engineers are involved in the design, manufacture and operation of ground-based vehicles, such as motorcycles, automobiles, buses and trucks and their respective engineering subsystems.
Education Required
It is required that you have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or automotive engineering if available. Some employers will want automotive engineers who specialize in a certain area.
Salary
The median pay is around $69,000 and 27 per hour, but the total pay is around $41,000- $104,000 and a pay of $13- $47 per hour.
