DWE Science Fair

Every year Deep Wood Elementary hosts a campus-wide Science Fair. Today, our fabulous PTA helped kick off Science Fair by providing our students a science enhancement program from The University of Texas Physics Circus! This year DWE Science Fair will be held on November 30, 2017. Every student in grades K-5 is encouraged to enter a project. Projects can include collections, exhibits/demonstrations, or experiments. We encourage 4th and 5th grade students to complete either a demonstration or an experiment. All projects will be brought to school the morning of November 30th, and judged during the day. Guidelines are provided for the types of projects appropriate to each grade level. There will be an evening exhibition for all parents and students, and the ribbons will be visible on the projects at that time.

If you have questions or want more information about Science Fair, you are invited to Pastries with the Principals on November 6th at 7:45 am in the library. You can also visit the Science Fair Website.

Check out so of the fun from this morning's Physics Circus! Thank you PTA!!

This is the final week for students to turn in reflections entries!!!
