Welcome to Humble ISD and Atascocita Middle School! Please follow the step-by-step instructions below to register your child(ren).

Tiger Prep Camp Aug. 6

Welcome to 6th grade Tigers! We would like to invite you to our annual Tiger Prep Camp Aug. 6, from 9:00-noon. Come learn what it means to be an AMS Tiger. Sign up using this link.

Vaccine clinic 7/29 7:30am-12:00 pm & 2:00 pm- 6:00 pm

AMS will have a Vaccine clinic on 7/29 . Masks are required, please bring immunization charts with you. All shot records require a doctor signature or stamp. No exceptions.

New Student Enrollment Guide for Humble ISD

Step #1: Complete New Student Registration online

Complete the New Student Registration. Be sure to read through all the information on the form.

Step #2: What documentation will I need to upload?

  • Child's proof of age and proof of identity (birth certificate or other legal document)
  • Parent/Guardian's driver's license or passport for identificaton purposes
  • Immunization records - must be SIGNED or STAMPED by the physician or his/her designee or public health personnel (including MyChart records)
  • Proof of residency in Humble ISD
    • For students residing in a house, the lease, deed, or a current utility (gas, water, electricity) bill is required.
    • For students residing in an apartment, a lease containing parent and student names or a letter from apartment manager is required.
    • If both parent and student live with a relative or friend in Humble ISD whose residence is not an apartment, the parent and the person with whom they reside must submit a notarized Verification of Address affidavit form. Email the campus registrar to request the required form.
  • Previous school records (report card or transcript) and withdrawal documents, if applicable
  • Standarized test results, if available

Step #4: After enrollment, Set up your HAC Account

AFTER your enrollment meeting with the grade-level secretary, set up a Home Access Center (HAC) account to monitor and view your student's academic progress, schedule, grades, test scores, and attendance throughout the year.

Step #5: Complete Form "How Does Your Child Get Home?" (REQUIRED)

AMS Dismissal procedures will be staggered based on how a child gets home to minimize mixing. Please complete the "How Does Your Child Get Home?" form so we can help improve dismissal for all students.

Step #6: MUST DO! Complete Schoology Parent Account (REQUIRED)

All parents are required to create a Schoology parent account that is linked to their student. Parents that have already created an account will not need to create a new account. Schoology is AMS’s primary form of mass parent communication. Directions to create a parent Schoology account can be found at this link.
Lunch Application

Important: A new application must be filled out at the beginning of each school year in order for meal benefits to continue.

Step #7: RevTrak Online Purchases (CONDITIONAL)

Visit RevTrak to pay online for the following items: fines, class fees (art, CTE, fine arts, and more), PE or Athletic apparel, agenda books, and spirit gear.

Step #8: Address Affidavit (REQUIRED for select families... see below)

If both parent and student live with a relative or friend in Humble ISD, whose residence is not an apartment, the parent and the person with whom they reside must submit a notarized statement verifying the residence. A Verification of Address Affidavit form is linked for you. Please be aware that a meeting will take place with the Campus Principal and the Guardian.

Both the student's parent/guardian(s) and the homeowner must be present for a short, in-person, 5-minute meeting "Verification of Address Affidavit" form.

NEW AMS Practice: Agenda Books

New for 2021 - 2022! 7th & 8th-grade students can purchase a personal organizer of their choosing. Please make sure the personal organizer has a month-at-a-glance feature AND space to write homework or assessment assignments on a particular day.

Traditional AMS agenda books will still be available for 7th & 8th grade students who wish to purchase one.

7th/8th graders do have the option of using an electronic device as an agenda book to make notes of upcoming assignments and events. However, AMS will use the Schoology Calendar within the Schoology App as the sole calendar we will provide training and support for. [AMS will not train students on other calendars and apps that serve the same function.]

6th graders will use the AMS agenda book (purchased for $10) so that it can be consistent among students as we teach students how to document assignments during Tiger Time.
