News
We have had a great beginning. Thank you for sharing your students with us.
Math- Smith
6th grade math students spent the week reviewing fraction and decimal skills and learned how to solve problems involving the least common multiple. Students grades are entered in powerschool. We will have a quiz next week and I expect a test on chapter 2 the following week (after Labor Day). The test will focus on least common multiple and greatest common factors. Most (if not all) of the actual test questions are inserted into the students' homework assignment. Student who work hard on homework and practice these skills do well on their assessments. Hopefully students will get their textbooks and chrome books next week.

The students will be finishing the story "The Stone" making predictions and identifying the moral of the story.
We have started a unit on Sentences.
Stems will begin after Labor Day. I do recommend getting some note cards to study.
