Social Problems
The main problem was that America was evolving into a more urban country while Texas was left behind being still a rural state dominated by agriculture the problems in Texas that were created by America beginning to urbanizing were not able to be solved by the officials that were already elected so farmers, and others, banded together to fight for there jobs and traditions in agriculture creating the peoples party and the agrarian (or populist) movement.
