Quiz Quiz Trade:
Students brainstormed questions and answers in their table group and then did a carousel brainstorm as they rotated to different table groups to read new questions and answers to gain more background knowledge on stars.
Class Building with Kagan: Animal Sounds
Students were given an animal card and were then told to close their eyes and walk around calling for their other “animal”. When they found their pair they could open their eyes and check to see if they found the right group.
Team Building with Kagan: Blindfold Picture
Students in a group were given a task to draw a specific shape in a specific spot on a piece of paper while blindfolded, then they passed the paper to the next blindfolded member adds another shape to the picture. After all four students are done they should create a picture. We realized from this activity how important clear communication can really be.
