EDUCATOR OF THE WEEK
This week's Educator of the Week is Ms. Stephanie Scanlan. Ms. Scanlan is an English & Theater teacher at MHS and has been with the MPSD since 2007. Beyond her fine work in the classroom, many of you may know her better through her work with the MHS Theatrical Society and as the Director of the MHS Drama Club. Earlier this month, our students, under the watchful eye of Ms. Scanlan, entertained thousands of spectators with their production of "Mamma Mia".
Principal Keuther, who has seen the impact Ms. Scanlan has had on students noted, "Ms. Scanlan impacts MHS daily in her English and theater classes and through her work with our Theatrical Society. She regularly challenges our students to grow as individuals and to be risk takers."
We are fortunate to have Ms. Scanlan on our team and we congratulate her on being our Educator of the Week. #WeRMarshfield

NEASC VISITING TEAM REPORT- MARSHFIELD HIGH SCHOOL
Marshfield High School hosted a New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) Decennial Accreditation Team on March 5 – 8, 2023. The purpose of this visit was to review and determine from an outside professional viewpoint the extent to which our high school is aligned with the Standards for Accreditation. Below is a link to our NEASC Team’s final report that was delivered on May 3, 2023. We are sharing the document with you for informational purposes. The recommendations contained within will be one of the metrics we use when developing future school improvement plans. The NEASC Commission on Public Schools will review this document prior to their spring meeting in June, where they will vote on continuing our accreditation status for the next 10 years. We will inform you of their decision this summer.
