Reviewing your child's Progress Report/Report Card

Printed copies of progress reports/report cards were sent home to all Norwood Students on Monday, November 22nd in their yellow take-home folder. Please remove the report card from enclosed yellow envelope, sign the corresponding line for the marking period (e.g. Term 1 for 1st Quarter, Term 2 for 2nd Quarter, etc.), and send back to school. This helps to let us know that you received the report card and have reviewed it with your child. If you have any further questions about your child’s academic progress, please reach out your child’s teacher.

Where to check for school closures & early dismissals

Please watch the short video below from our YouTube channel that explains where you can access the BCPS School Calendar for the current 2021-2022 academic year. There has been a lot of misunderstanding over which days are half days or days off, and the BCPS School Calendar outlines all of those planned days that differ from the normal school schedule.

Message from the nurse about Change of Clothing & Clothing Donations

If anyone is going through their closets and would like to donate any extra clothing that you no longer need, we are in need of boys and girls elastic waist pants (any size), but ESPECIALLY for sizes 4-10. Also, any donations of new & unused underwear would also be appreciated. Please remember to send a change of clothes to be kept in your child's locker for emergencies. We do not always have on-hand the size that they may need in an emergency.
