My Representative: Matt Rinaldi

District - 115, Northwest portion of Dallas County

Background Information

He sits on both the Committee on Business & Industry and the Committee on Agriculture & Livestock. Representative Rinaldi attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where he graduated cum laude with a B.B.A. in Economics, and Boston University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude. He is currently a commercial litigation attorney and a strong advocate of tort reform in the legal community. Matt also serves on the board of directors of a publicly-traded real estate investment trust in the hotel and hospitality industry. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and an alumnus of Leadership Irving/Las Colinas. Matt and his wife, Corley, attend St. Ann Catholic Parish in Coppell.rish in Coppell.

It is our mission to protect the public health, safety, and welfare through the regulation of the practice of the professions of architecture, landscape architecture, and interior design.

Types of Jobs - Design professional, architectural inspector, landscape inspector

Impact - You have to become certified to be able to build certain things, there are permits and fees to constructing certain things, it keeps the public safe from faulty designs
