Dr. Boatman will discuss understanding and responding to the five intensities seen in many gifted children. Learn various techniques and strategies that can be taught to children and used by adults to help intense people learn to moderate and cope with their personal view and responses to the world.

Teresa Argo Boatman, Ph.D.

Teresa Argo Boatman is a Licensed Psychologist in private practice in Plymouth, MN. She specializes in assessment of gifted children as well as interventions with families and children. Her clinical work focuses on helping children, adults, and families find solutions in their real world situations. In addition to her counseling work, she consults with schools on establishing educational plans for gifted children. Dr. Boatman is the former president of the Minnesota Council for the Gifted and Talented and has spent years working with families in Minnesota on educational choices and emotional health for children and adults.
