Specials Schedule
Halloween Parade at BAE!!!!
We are excited to hold our first ever Halloween Parade at Blue Ash Elementary - October 31, starting at10:30!!!
Students and staff will be coming to school on Monday, October 31 in fun or silly costumes.
We encourage families to be creative with the fun costumes, but please nothing scary or messy.
Participants should still follow dress code expectations:
No scary costumes
No extensive face makeup
No weapons
Students should wear school appropriate shoes because we will be walking outside.
*Please do not drop off costumes/items to school. Your child should be able to wear their costume to school without support. We will not be interrupting class for students to pick up items.
Important Reminders for Families:
Help your child prepare their costume (see expectations above), and have them wear or bring their costume in its entirety to school. *We will not be delivering costume accessories to students.
If you are coming to the parade, it begins at 10:30, please arrive to school with plenty of time to park and get to the parade route. *We encourage families to dress up too! :)
Park in front of the school. Overflow parking will be in the UCBA lot across from the front of the school. Please DO NOT park in the yellow spots as those are for the UC faculty stalls.
The parade is outside, so move to any place along the parade route: Kdg - 4 Students will exit the 3rd grade door, and will turn to the right to go around the side and back of the school. Students will walk all the way around the outside of the school and back in the front door, so visitors should position themselves anywhere on the route so they can cheer and wave. *Important note..Preschool students will exit the kindergarten wing at 10:30 and walk the sidewalk that circles the front of the school. They will enter the school through the main doors (Short and Sweet!)
Visitors will not come into the school, unless they are volunteering for their child’s class party.
If it should rain, we will have to cancel the parade portion of our day, but we still encourage students to come to school in their costumes.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's teacher.
*We will have Blue Ash Police officers here to help us with our parade route….and to enjoy the fun as well!
Movie Night!!!!!

A Carnival in math class? You bet!
Manipulatives help us to see the why and the how in math!
Veterans Day
We would love for our Blue Ash Elementary students' relatives who are active military members or veterans to join us for a Veterans Day Assembly on Friday, November 11th, 2022 from 2:05-3:15.
If you, or a relative are a veteran, or are currently in the service, and would like to attend our assembly, please use the link below to complete the RSVP form.
*Parents, because this assembly is at the end of the day, we realize that some parents may choose to have their child to go home with their special guest. If you would like for your child to be picked up by someone other than you, you must send in a note, signed by you, specifying who has permission to pick up your child that day. Please let your child's teach know if you would like any parent communication forms sent home with your child.
Goal Setting
Even when we stumble on our way, we learn important lessons that help us to do better next time.
Take some time to talk with your child about their goals and what they are doing to reach for the stars. We bet you will be amazed!

PTO INFORMATION
Active Aves (a PTO sponsored program) is Back!
Active Aves is a recess running program that allows kids to set and meet goals while having fun and being active outside with their friends. Kids run (or walk) laps around the playground, each of which is marked on a card. When kids complete a card (each card equals about 2 miles walked or run) they earn a token to mark their accomplishment. Kids who complete six or more cards will be entered in a drawing for a prize at the end of the year. You can help by volunteering to punch cards and cheer the kids on. We especially need volunteers for first and second grades. To sign up to volunteer, please use the link below. Thank you!
