BOOK EXCHANGE IN THE LIBRARY!
January Family Project: Do your children have too many books on their shelves? Would you like to make room for new ones? Perhaps take time with your children to think about clearing out books they have grown out of or no longer enjoy, send your children to the library with the books to swap them!
LIBRARY SUBSCRIPTION: TUMBLEBOOK!
All about TumbleBook Library: The TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) with fiction, non-fiction and foreign language titles, Read-Alongs (chapter books with sentence highlighting and narration but no animation), TumbleTV which consists of pre-set playlists of a sequence of books, Tumble Puzzles & Games, and TumbleResources for teachers and students. Plus there are videos from National Geographic as well.

Hurt Go Happy by Ginny Rorby
The main character is a deaf girl whose mother doesn't want her to learn sign language. Her secret friend, a chimpanzee, teaches her how to communicate and brings her on a special adventure.
Water Weed and Wait by Edith Hope Fine
Great gardening action non-fiction picture book.
