Pink Out Monday
Student Safety at Morning Drop Off
- You can use our drop off service and our fabulous safety patrol will open the car door for your child at the curb. If you arrive by 7:20, the line is short and fast. If you arrive at 7:30, the line is long and drop off takes longer.
- You can park in the lot and walk your child all the way to the front doors. The parking lot is very hectic and students MUST be escorted by an adult all the way through the crosswalk. Dropping students off in the parking lot is not safe. Please help us ensure student safety!
PfISD Bond and TRE Information
The Pflugerville ISD Board of Trustees has unanimously called for two elections in November 2018: A Tax Ratification Election (TRE) and a $332 million bond election. The TRE proposes the PfISD tax rate be lowered by two cents and could result in an additional $4.1 million in state funding. To stay informed on these elections, visit www.pfisdbond.net.
Please note: The Bond/TRE website may be displayed in Spanish, by clicking on the Google Translate button at the bottom of the website homepage.

Nov. 6: Election dayBoosterthon Fun Run Fundraiser
Our school fundraiser is a Fun Run. Hosting a Fun Run means there is no selling or delivering products. Once our program begins on October 1, family and friends anywhere in the world can support our school by giving pledges toward the number of laps your students will run on the day of the Fun Run: October 11

FUN RUN PLEDGING HAS OPENED!
Help us reach our Fundraising Goal!
Parent Action Steps:
1. Register your student(s) on FUNRUN.COM on September 24.
2. Reach out to sponsors by sharing your pledge link.
3. All pledges and payments are made online.*
4. Cheer on your student at the Fun Run on October 11.
Run and Done Collections
- EASY for everyone! Sponsors only have to sit down once to pledge and pay while our school collects more funds!
- Sponsors can either make a pledge per lap or a flat donation! If they make a pledge per lap, their credit card is charged after the Fun Run!
* Cash and check payments are still accepted. Please make them out to Mott Elementary. Your student will still get credit for the pledge or donation.
Thank you for your support of our school!
Incentives
The grade level with the highest pledges gets to choose a staff member that they can completely cover under a blanket of silly string!
If we complete the 50 State Challenge of getting pledges from all 50 states, I will ride a tricycle to every classroom dressed as an owl!
Literary Character Day - October 31
Students may come to school dressed as their favorite literary character on this day. Please help us stick to the theme. We are highlighting children’s literature, not commercialization and not Halloween. We will have a parade of our literary characters at 7:45 a.m. To participate in the parade, students must be holding the book with the literary character on which their costume is based. Be creative! Think outside the box! This is going to be so much fun!!
