Sophomore Timelines
Using a timeline is a smart way to remain on track to finish high school successfully, apply to college, and attend college. If you are not already following a timeline, please consider using one listed below to guide you through the remainder of sophomore year and help you prepare for junior year.
A Quick Reminder: High School Program requirements
- Attend one academy, hosted in Fall 2018
- Complete at least two hours of community service by March 6, 2019 (five hours is recommended for high school students)
- Speak with four admissions reps at a college fair OR visit four college campuses as a junior or senior
- Do not receive out-of-school suspension
- Continue to participate in It’s My Call/It’s Our Call random drug screening program
- Remain enrolled in a Forsyth County public school and graduate from a Forsyth County public school
- Fulfill the terms of the Partnership Agreement
Sophomore year is the last opportunity to enroll in the Program, so continue fulfilling program requirements, meeting deadlines, and abiding by the Partnership Agreement. If you are dismissed for any reason, you will be ineligible to reapply next school year.
