Principal's Message
Happy Friday Cougar Families!
This week we honored Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week started after the death fo Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, who in 1985 was murdered by drug traffickers he was investigating in Mexico. Through Cougar Den our students learned about the dangers of the synthetic opioid Fentanyl and took the Red Ribbon Pledge to grow up safe, healthy, and drug free. Additionally, our Friday Night Live Club hosted activities on Thursday and Friday during lunch promoting a healthy and drug free lifestyle.
I would like to recognize and congratulate Major Givens. In their win over Grossmont last night, Major broke the Steele Canyon single game and all time rushing records in the victory. Congratulations on an impressive performance and a great career.
Have a safe and healthy weekend
Scott Parr
