Our Advisory Board member, Bret Bunker with Boerne ISD invites you to a two 1-Day seminars from Teaching American History on June 1st and 2nd. The registration links and descriptions are below.The American Founding June 1st 8:00 -2:00 at Boerne ISD Central Office Training Center. This seminar offers an overview of the principles of the American Founding and the documents that embody them, especially the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. These principles will be illuminated through a close study of the events of the American Revolution and the debates on the ratification of the constitution.
All attendees of this free Seminar will be provided with lunch, a certificate for continuing education, and digital and paper copies of the agenda and documents reader. TAH.org is a certified provider of teacher professional development in Texas.
Jason W. Stevens VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF POLITICAL SCIENCE AT ASHLAND UNIVERSITY The Path to U.S. Citizenship June 2nd 8:00 -2:00 at Boerne ISD Central Office Training Center. This seminar will examine the questions and documents that established the Pathway to U.S. Citizenship. This will be highlighted through a study starting with the Citizenship Act of 1790, why the policies were changed in the 1920s and again during the 1960s.
