Irma Rangel Panther News
Week of December 12th
Ms. Rojas Message
Rangel's Parents and Guardians,
We have a lot of activities and programs happening this month. Be sure to review the Rangel December Informer for all dates and information!
Don't forget that ACPs will begin this Friday. We are preparing every student who will be taking their semester exam with the best instruction we can give. However, we need your help encouraging your child to be prepared and study accordingly. I've attached some tidbits to help your child manage exam stress.
Be mindful that during our early release, students will need to be picked up on time upon their 2:15 p.m. release and buses will run as they would normally, except with earlier drop-off times. Also, students will be given the option to pick up a sack lunch each day after their exams and as they leave. They will not have a full lunch break during the day, therefore if they would like to have a snack in between tests, they will need to bring one from home.
We appreciate everything you do at home to support our beautiful and aspiring young ladies.
Thank you,
Ms. Rojas

College Updates from College Success Advisor Mrs. Gonzales
Rangel Families, if you don't know this already, our campus is one of very very few, that have an on-site College Success Advisor that assists our young ladies during their high school journey to become college prepared. She is an asset to our campus, using her time to meet individually with students to find financial aid, scholarships, and acceptance into preferred colleges and universities.
Seniors have been working hard at completing applications and college supplements these last couple of weeks- GREAT JOB!
36% of our seniors submitted Early Action and/or Early Decision Applications
15 of our Seniors have been accepted into a 4-year university
Lastly, BIG Shout Out to all our caring teachers, staff, and admin who wrote Letter(s) of Recommendation for our students.
