Please remember that there is no supervision behind the school or on the playgrounds in the morning. The school staff supervision begins at 8:30 a.m. and is focused on the front of Briar Glen, where kids are entering. If your child wants to use the playground before 8:30 a.m., a family member should stay to supervise. If you drop your student off before that time, they will not have school supervision on the playground.

Elementary school boys are invited to the “Boots and Buddies” dance, which will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 29, at Glen Crest. Boys can bring any special woman in their life. The district will hold a second informational meeting where residents can learn more about the June bond referendum. There will be a short presentation, followed by an opportunity to ask questions. The upcoming meetings will be held:

• 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Briar Glen Elementary, 1800 Briarcliffe Blvd., Wheaton
• 7 p.m., Monday, June 13, via Zoom
