Drop off/pick up days and end of year drive by
Dear Families,
On June 3, 4, and 5th, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., you are able to drop off any school items ( i.e. textbooks, chromebooks (remember the chargers), ipads, library books, pesos (in envelope to "Mr. Andress"), etc.) which you might have to return. Please follow the instructions Mrs. Jakubowski sent to you regarding instrument returns. When returning them to school, please place all items in a plastic bag. If you have a chromebook, also place it in a bag by itself (please include a sticky note if any repairs are needed). You might need to double bag items if you are using the bags from the grocery store.
If you have any items which you want to give to your teacher, please try to bag it if possible and clearly mark who it is for. We will be sure to get the item(s) to the teacher/staff members to be picked up on Friday, June 5 between 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
In summary, in order to minimize contact:
PLACE ALL ITEMS IN A PLASTIC BAG
PLACE ALL PLASTIC BAGS IN YOUR TRUNK.
PULL UP TO THE GRADE LEVEL TABLE WHICH YOUR CHILD IS IN (If you have elementary and middle school, you will need to swing around for a second pass)
IF POSSIBLE, OPEN YOUR TRUNK FROM INSIDE THE CAR (In following guidelines, we need to avoid people getting out of vehicles as much as possible.)
ITEMS WILL BE REMOVED BY STAFF MEMBER AND ITEMS FOR YOUR CHILD WILL BE PLACED IN TRUNK.
Optional: PROCEED TO LOST AND FOUND AND CLAIM ANY MISSING ITEMS. (Located in the middle of the parking lot.) You will need to get out of your car to look through items, please follow social distance parameters. All remaining items will be donated on June 8th).
I would strongly recommend you avoid dropping off items on June 5 from 11:45 to 1:30. We know this will be a busy time with the "Drive By - Good Bye" event.
If you are not able to drop items off between June 3-5th, you can drop them off on June 1 and 2nd or the week of June 11th between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. You will need to place the items on the tables under the over hang by door 1. Please respect distancing and the urge to socialize while dropping off.
Our goal is to be in school starting September 1. We are working on plans to make this happen and keep everyone as safe as possible. We are also hoping to open our playground on July 1 once the restrictions have been lifted.
As you know this is not how the Erin Staff likes to end our school year. We miss interacting with your children! Please join us for the Drive By - Goodbye Celebration!
I hope you all have a safe and relaxing summer.
Please call the office if you have any questions.
Dr. Kriewaldt
Friday, June 5th-noon-1pm-end of year drive by
Erin School Staff will be lined up on the west side of Terry Rd (north of Cty O). Please drive north only on Terry Rd. Please keep the traffic moving. You will exit on Druid Lake Rd. If you have something to give to your teacher please do not give it during the parade but drop it off at school and we will make sure it gets to your teacher.
How do I know if my child has missing work?
Teachers have sent emails to all families if a student is missing work. No news is good news. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you need support in getting any missing work complete.
Yearbook and class composites
Elementary class composites have arrived and will be distributed during pick up days. Middle School ones have been delayed, once they arrive we will let you know.

Erin School Community Garden
Are you able to give an hour or so of your time to our Erin School Community Garden?
Please consider adopting one of our garden beds!
Garden beds are available for adoption in 4K/5K through 8th grade.
We are looking for families to offer their time just once (May-September) to help with the maintenance of the garden beds. You are welcome to come at any time on the day you sign up (whatever works best for you).
- Items to plant will be provided and will be placed by the bed you adopt.
- A wheelbarrow will be provided on weeding days so that waste can be brought to our compost bins (middle school playground by treeline).
- Please bring gloves and any small gardening tools for planting and weeding the bed you will work in.
Thank you for your contribution to our Erin School Community Garden!
