Principal's Message
Classified Employee Appreciation Week is celebrated every year during the first full week of March. I want to acknowledge the incredible work of the staff that we rely on every day to complete the many jobs necessary to keep the school running and to serve students. Thank you to our employees for being talented, caring, hardworking, and committed to helping ISB students, teachers and parents. Each of them is an asset to our school and community.
The District continues to plan in anticipation of offering high school/options students a hybrid form of in-person learning during the fourth quarter of the year, or allowing them to finish the year in comprehensive distance learning. The community continues to receive communications about the learning models and information that will help families make the best decision for their child/children. Stay tuned to the District website and email communications for updates.
I know the last year has presented enormous challenges to your family and children. We appreciate everything you do to continue to support your children and ISB. Thank you for your patience as we continue to work through the unprecedented issues of a world-wide pandemic. Stay well.
Sincerely,
Janice Adams

Links to BSD Website in Several Languages
We understand that it can be challenging to access current information regarding your child’s schooling in your own language. We do our best to send out messages about important updates, especially during these challenging times. However, you can access the BSD website — and specifically, our return-to-school page — at any time. Below, we’ve included a link that will take you to our website, where you’ll find it already translated into your language. Please know, the translation is generated by Google Translate. It’s not perfect, but we do hope it’s helpful. If you need additional assistance, please contact our Multilingual Department at 503-356-3755.

Missed Curbside Pick Up?
You can still come to ISB to pick up your student's supplies and materials for second semester Monday through Friday from 8 am to 2 pm when school is in session. Almost ALL students have items to pick up.
When you arrive at ISB in your car, please use the bus drop off lane to pull up to the front of the school. Call the office at 503-356-3690 to let us know you are here. Hold a sign up in the front window with the first and last name of the ISB student(s) clearly visible - large print in bold letters really helps! Open your car's trunk and wait for staff to place your textbooks and materials in it. Staff will be wearing masks and gloves when they do this.
Walking or biking to school to pick up supplies and materials is discouraged at this time due to safety reasons.
