Oriental Choreography and Technique with Tara
12-2 pm -Advanced Level
Learn new skills in technique, choreography, combinations, expression and musical interpretation that can be transferred and applied in your own dance creations. Tara will finish a whole choreography from entrance to exit to a beautiful and uplifting Oriental piece of music.
About Tara:
Tara has been dancing for over 12 years. She has worked professionally in Egypt for 1 year in theatre as well as working in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Lebanon, Palestine and Oman. She is the producer for the Arabian Dance Theatre Company and has created 5 years of shows which toured the UK and featured heavily in the media such as BBC Arabic, MBC Channel Dubai and Daily News Egypt. In 2012 she received Arts Council Funding to create a theatre production on modern Arab music and dance. Tara performs and teaches folklore, belly dance and is also a world record holder for Sufi Whirling.

Modern Belly Dance Technique with Isa
12-2 pm Beginner
2.30-4.30 pm intermediate to advanced
Modern belly dance has an abundance of arm, leg work and turns and technique which has developed from Jazz and Ballet. Understanding how to encorporate these techniques is essential for any belly dancer who wants a modern and dynamic style. This can be tricky and difficult to master on your own however with Isa’s expertise you will learn grace, balance, flow and control of your legs, foot work and arms with ease. This class will give a detailed break down on technique such as pirouette, leg lifts, posture, balance, turns as well as choreography.
About Isa:
Isa started dancing at the young age of four. She went on to study at one of Londons most prestigious Performing Arts Establishments. She started her performing career as a West End Musical star and appeared in numerous TV programs, films and award shows all over the world.
Isa has a extensive experience in teaching and performing Belly Dance and Arabic Folklore.
She is one of the main members of the UK’s premier Arabian dance company, The Arabian Dance Theatre. The company has toured the UK and featured in the media such as BBC Arabic, MBC Channel Dubai and Daily News Egypt.
Isa is a highly skilled professional and qualified dancer, teacher and performer. Her great experience in various dance styles and stage craft will help the student get a better understanding of dance movement and develop their performing skills.
