Conserving our environment

part 6

human population growth

What many people do not realize is we live in a world of limited resources. one day all of our resources will be used up and we will be competing for survival. The human population goes up every second. The more humans we have it this world is just more resources that will be used up. Death somewhat balances out the human population and keeps it from becoming too overpopulated.

global warming

global warming is the rise in earths average temperature over-time. It has been theorized that over 98% of the cause of global warming is greenhouse gases or other human activity. The greenhouse effect is what radiation warms the earths surface from its normal temperature. Both of these things contribute to the hole in the ozone layer, which is a large hole in our ozone over Antarctica.

pollution and littering

pollution and littering are another factor that is tearing our world apart. when people throw there trash on the ground animals can come by and eat it which can be potentially fatal to the animal. pollution and littering

Burning of fossil fuels

The burning of fossil fuels raises serious environmental concerns. The burning of fossil fuels produces around 21.3 billion tonnes of carbon dioxide per year

habitat destruction

A lot of the time when contractors build a new building they have to clear a lot of natural land. This destroys the lives of many innocent animals resulting in a major population depletion.

We can conserve more natural resources by recycling. By recycling we can reuse stuff and minimize the amount of "new" we need. The US Environmental Protection agency ,akes laws and regulations to inforce environment protection laws
