Anthropologist are the scientist that study humans, their origins, development and the behavior of humans.
How do they figure it out?
Although most anthropologists work in an office some can also work in laboratories or work in the field. They typically work in research organizations, colleges and universities, museums, consulting firms, private corporations, and government. Fieldwork in remote areas usually requires travel for extended periods.
What do Anthropologists have to do with Famine?

Anthropologists study the behavior of humans, therefore they can determine what substances, foods, and materials that they use in everyday life. This means that they can figure out what would be in shortage as well as what would be in bulk. This would help them to decide what should be limited and what should be exported.
