Veterans Day Celebration
Thank you Veterans!
A Message from the Principal's Desk:
Greetings Kingsway Community,
We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break! November certainly flew by, but not without some memorable events at KRMS. KRMS's second annual Veterans Day Breakfast and Mini Parade was a huge success. Over forty Veterans from the Kingsway Community enjoyed a delicious breakfast, listened to songs by our jazz ensemble and our chorus, and viewed dozens of student projects that were centered around Veterans Day. Finally, the Veterans took center stage in a parade through our hallways led by the high school drumline. The positive impact of the celebration was felt by all who were present---God Bless America. The cast and crew of "Snow White's Variety Show", executed a flawless performance in front of our entire student body during the day and over two hundred members of the school community at night. Hats off to all involved especially directors, Mrs. Dillard and Mrs. Dumas. Finally, over fifty parents and community members highlighted their careers and presented to our student during our annual Career Day on November 23. The students heard from nearly sixty parents/community members about their respective career. December is sure to be a success as we will see our students take the stage once again for our holiday band and chorus concerts.
Sincerely,
Brian Tonelli
