June Cook County Food System Network Gathering
Join us in June for the next meeting of the Cook County Food System Network!
We will gather as collaborators and partners to continue learning from each other and finding ways to work together. The theme for this gathering is Food Access in our Communities.
We'll have snacks and socializing at 12:30 and officially meet from 1-3 pm. Come for as much or as little as you are able! RSVP appreciated but not required!

1:25 pm- State of Food Security and Food Access in Cook County- presented by Grace Grinager, Public Health Supervisor for Cook County
1:40 pm- Facilitated panel discussion on Food Access issues in Cook County with local service providers/organizations
2:10 pm- Group discussion on the information presented, including idea sharing for improving food access in our communities
2:45 pm- Information sharing and announcement from attendees on upcoming opportunities, events, or happenings related to the food system

Who are we? What is this?
The Cook County Food System Network aims to connect organizations, strategic partners, and community members who are working towards a sustainable, equitable, more connected local food system through information sharing, opportunity identification, and promoting collaboration.
The Network is facilitated by the Northwoods Food Project, Cook County Extension, and Cook County SHIP.
