Distance Learning - Week One (March 24- March 27th)
Message from Principal Jackson
I hope that you and your family are doing well in this time of transition and uncertainty. On behalf of the leadership team, let us say that we miss our students VERY much. Please tell them a big hello from the school team!
This week started our first days 'back' from Spring Break which also means the first days of Distance Learning. As I am sure you have all heard, DCPS will be closed through April 24th and is currently slated to return on April 27th which means lots of learning from home over the next few weeks.
As we move into Distance Learning, teacher have been reaching out to share the ways in which instructional support will occur for your students. They will also share the hours in which they are available 'on the spot'. As always, all teachers and staff can be reached via email and they will respond within 24 hours or the next business day. If you are having any trouble reaching staff, please reach out to a member of the leadership team so that we may assist you:

I am extremely proud of the work our staff is doing to shift to virtual learning. Their plans and modailities look excellent and they should be commended for all of their hard work! Please continue to be patient with us as we learn the technology required to make this happen and let us know how we can better meet the needs of our students!
In the below newsletter you will find some updates. The information is changing rapidly so please feel free to reach out with questions or concerns. I am here to hep the best that I can.
Respectfully,
Principal Jackson
