SHOUT OUTS...
- Thank you Magen for setting up a meeting to get organized for our 5th graders who need our support. You are a lighthouse in our storm! Thank you also to Christina G. for keeping our focus on the emotional health and success of our sweet students who have to get psyched up for another round of this. ~ Amanda
- Thank you Kathryn for always keeping kids first! You inspire me. ~ Amanda
- A Big Shout out to Janette and Justin for helping with kinder students during Thursday announcements. Y'all rock! - Sofie
- Thank you to everyone who participated in Poem in Your Pocket Day! I think our students enjoyed it, and I hope it helped spread the joy of poetry. Next year will be even better. - Carolyn
- Thank you Carolyn Pierce for organizing the Poem in Your Pocket Day! It was so nice to connect with other adults and children through poetry. A poem a day keeps the blues away. - Susan
- I want to thank Kellie and Marquina for being supportive on my rides home. Have been down to one car lately and they have been ever so supportive in helping Daegan and me out! I'm blessed! - Vidonni
- Huge SHOUT OUT to Amanda Willim, Astrid Winklepleck, Candyce Mueller, Christy Tucker, Amy Johnson, Christina Giulvezan, and the 5th Grade Teachers for working together to come up with a plan for our 5th Grade Retesters. Thank you so much for taking on 1-2 small groups to get these kiddos prepared for 2nd admin!! - Magen
- Special thank you to 5th grade and 5th grade support folks for ALL your hard work in preparing your students! Thank you also for the way you ALL pulled together to provide intervention for this short time we have - y'all are awesome!! - Lisa
HELP!!!!
Please, please monitor students during the announcements - I have had much larger groups than this in the past - with much less talk, noise and disrespect. It takes us all monitoring, correcting, (and not being guilty of talking ourselves!!)
Our Amazing Students!!
Story to go with the pic above...
When I get to be a part of these moments of pure joy in a child's life, especially a child still going through the pain of learning how to balance and reconcile their individuality with our social structures, my cup runneth over. I am convicted with the realization that THIS is how He sees her.
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." - Nina
