Google Sites
Tips and Tricks
To get started with your website:
Click any image below to enlarge it.
Click on the Google Apps icon.
Choose "Sites".
Click "Create".
(You can browse sites within Adams 12 if you'd like to see what others are doing.)
Choose "Blank" or pick a template.
Then, create your site name/URL. I used t_larue.
Pick a theme and click "Create Site".
This option is under the URL option, and you can customize further later or keep the theme as is.
You now have a basic site.
You now have a basic site. Your options are:
- Pencil: edit your current page
- Page+: create a new page for your site
- Settings Wheel: setting for this page and the entire site
- Share: your site is private until you choose to share it
Editing a Page
It's like a basic Google Doc in the toolbar, but you do have other options available, too.
