BOGO Book Fair is Coming!
Dear Parents & Families,
Helping kids become readers is not just about opening a book; it's about opening the right book — the book that gets them so excited to read they can't put it down. But why is this important? Because reading for fun has real and long-lasting benefits that can help your kids do better in school and in life.
Our Scholastic Buy One, Get One Free* Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. Not only will your child be able to choose from a wonderful selection of titles before the summer vacation starts, they will be able to get one free book for every book they buy!
**All free books must be of equal or lesser value than the ones you buy. In other words, you pay for the book that costs more. The free book is the one that costs less. Titles vary by Book Fair. All items are available while supplies last.
Book Fair dates: April 26, April 27, April 30
Shopping hours: 8:30 am – 2:30 pm
** We will have some Carmen Deedy books available for purchase that she will autograph when she visits on May 9, 2018. (While supplies last.) We will hold the purchased Carmen Deedy books in the Media Center until her author visit. After she autographs the books, we will give them to the students.**
NEW digital payment option for students: eWallet! Now you can send your child to shop the fair cash-free! Visit our Book Fair Homepage to learn more and to create an account: http://www.scholastic.com/bf/jgdyerelementaryschool
Payment Options: eWallet, cash, check (made out to Dyer), credit card
*** Don't forget to send enough money to cover the 6% sales tax.
We look forward to seeing you and your family at our Book Fair!
