Read Across America

Students at Carver celebrated Read Across America from February 25 to March 1. This week's events brought lots of excitement to our reading classes and was celebrated in conjunction with Dr. Seuss's birthday on March 2. Thank you to our parent volunteers that served as guest readers for the occasion. Our students enjoyed hearing many of Dr. Seuss's classic tales and even dressed as favorite characters from his beloved stories.

Career Day

February 1st brought another terrific Career Day to our school! Carver appreciates all the support from our parents and community businesses. A special "thank you" to Jo McCann and Dan Mertig for organizing the event. Students had a fabulous time learning about the variety of jobs that are available for them to pursue as careers.

Live To Give

Our current mindset focus is "Live to Give." Carver students are learning how to give of their time to speak words of encouragement to others. Compliments and acts of service are small ways we can make a difference in the lives of others.

Picture Day is Coming Soon...Mark your calendar for Wednesday, March 13th!

RHMS Plays Beautiful Music

The Richmond Hill Middle School gave a concert to our fifth graders to introduce them to the many fine arts opportunities that will be available to them in sixth grade. Students were able to learn about the many instruments and hear several great musical arrangements from the chorus, band, and orchestra.

Fifth Grade Learns All About Electricity

A Big "Thank You" to Georgia Power for providing great hands-on learning activities for our students to discover and explore more about electricity.
