News
Thursday, January 23 one of our 3rd and 4th grade clusters will be celebrating "Ocean Day" to raise awareness for the many problems faced by our seas. Everyone is encouraged to wear blue or ocean themed shirts to raise awareness.
Friday, January 24 will be a Spirit Day Assembly. Wear your Austin T-shirt if you have one! Report cards will also be sent home.
E time: For the next few weeks we will be exploring the topic of Winter Olympics. After watching some video clips of ice hockey, bobsledding and speed skating, we did simulations of an ice hockey game and a bobsled race. Thanks to Mrs. Dobecka for loaning us her awesome P.E. equipment. There are a few video clips down below if you want to hear some excitement!

SEM / Clusters ... a message from Ms. Malone:
Enrichment clusters will soon be starting for our 1st and 2nd grade learners, and we want YOU to be involved. This is an amazing opportunity to work directly with the children of Austin Elementary as they explore their interests and discover their own unique talents. No special skills are needed, and training will be provided. For more information and/or to reserve your spot at the training, please click on the link named "Volunteers Needed" below.
