MESSAGE FROM DR. CHURCH
Next week concludes a truly unique and unparalleled challenging school year. I know I speak for all the staff when we say a heartfelt “thank you” for your support and understanding this year. I would like to particularly thank our PTO board who have worked tirelessly in creating some activities for students. Virtual pumpkin carving, Santa in the parking lot, and remote robotics are just a few of the ways they have been visible and touched our community. You are the BEST!
We are all looking forward to a different, more whole, school year in 2021-22. This summer my principal colleagues and I will be working on how to make next year engaging, welcoming, and socially and academically rewarding. I can hardly wait to dig into designing that for our return.
That being said, I am exhausted. Again, on behalf of the staff, so are we all. I am ready to recharge my batteries and step away for a while. We have all worked hard in trying to make sense of remote teaching, hybrid schedules, and in understanding and implementing safety protocols. All things we knew nothing about before March of 2020.
I hope you too find time to enjoy the beautiful Northwest summer days as you begin to get excited for all next year holds. Go Ravens!
When returning equipment, we will need everything you checked out. This includes hot spots, AC adaptors, and laptop bags. Many of these items are on lease and need to be returned.
In-Person Technology Return Info
COHORT A Ravens will return on Wednesday, June 16 during school
COHORT B Ravens will return on Thursday, June 17 during school
Exception: IF your child needs their device for their final ZOOM on Friday June 18th you can return it that day from 1-2:30 during distribution for remote ravens.
Your teacher will be sharing Zoom information with you for the last day and how to access from a personal device.
*We are asking you to please let your teacher know what your family’s plan is so we can be efficient in our process.

COVID-19 TESTING STUDY COMES TO A CLOSE
Dear TF community,
As the school year comes to a close, we wanted to thank you for your help in supporting the Snohomish School District Coronavirus Testing program at your school. We could not have conducted this novel and impactful research without all of your continued support.
Since February 22, 2021, we have collected over 6,000 samples from students and staff across the district, all of which will help inform the reopening of schools across the country in the fall.
Our staff will be picking up the drop boxes and materials from campus next week when they come to collect samples. Thank you again, and we hope you enjoy your summers!

DOES YOUR CHILD HAVE MEDICATIONS AT SCHOOL?
All medications/supplies must be picked up by a Parent/Guardian by the end of the school day on the last day your student attends school. Depending on your student’s schedule, pick-up will be end of school day on Wednesday, June 16th or Thursday, June 17th. Medications will not be sent home with your child.
Emergency medications (Epi-Pens and Midazolam) need to be picked up Wednesday, June 16th or Thursday, June 17th after school.
If you are unable to collect your student’s medication on the above date we will have staff here on Friday, June 18th from 8:30 am - 2:30 pm for medication pick up in the office.
Any medications left after that date will be destroyed (even if your child is returning to school the following fall). We are prohibited from storing medications over the summer.
