We are 100 days smarter!!
The excitement has been building this week as the kids have anticipated the 100th day of school. I had to chuckle when one of the kids came in this morning and said, "This doesn't seem like the 100th day of school! What makes it different?" After 11 rotations of different learning centers focusing on the concept of 100, this same child was singing Spongebob's "Best Day Ever!" Today we did the following: built 100 cup structures; made lego sculptures of 100 legos; counted, sorted, and made a necklace out of 100 Fruit Loops. We also made crowns, put together a 100 piece puzzle, a dice game, stacking 100 pattern blocks, and counting 100 objects. I was so amazed at the kids' creativity and enjoyed watching them explore their problem-solving skills. They are such amazing kids! Take a look at some of the things we did!
