Superintendent's Message
Loveland Tiger Families,
We have some exciting news to share with you about the new Ohio School Report Cards - Loveland has scored five stars in every category! The School Report Card measures achievement in several categories, including Achievement, Early Literacy, Gap Closing, Graduation Rate, and Progress - and Loveland got top marks in all of them.
A few weeks ago, we learned the preliminary results, but on Thursday, we learned how we stack up against every other district in Ohio. Only 12 districts received all 5-star ratings, putting Loveland in the top 2% of districts statewide. We have a great article with more details on our website, which you can read by following this link.
This is an accomplishment for our entire Loveland City Schools community. Our students work very hard, with fantastic support from their families and our staff. It’s through that partnership that we all accomplish great things together. Two goals of our #beLOVEland Strategic Vision are student success and fiscal responsibility. Being able to achieve at a high level while keeping a close eye on the bottom line is further evidence that we are delivering a fantastic educational value for our Loveland City Schools community.
Loveland, Madeira, and Sycamore are the only southwest Ohio school districts to have five stars in every category. Loveland accomplishes this with less revenue per student, providing a great return on the educational investment of our community.
As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to me at broadwmi@lovelandschools.org.
Go Tigers!

LHS Students Earn National Merit Honors
Congratulations to LHS seniors Allyson Colegate, Broderick Merz, Carmen Noe, and Evan Osgood. All four were notified this week that they are National Merit Semifinalists. Less than 1% of high school seniors nationwide are given this honor, which is earned through outstanding performance on standardized college entrance exams. They’re now in the running for National Merit college scholarships and we look forward to seeing how they do.
#beLOVEland Shoutout to our Special Education Team
A Loveland family sent a sweet note praising Mrs. Lawrence, Mrs. Muehlenkamp, Mrs. Howard, Mrs. Freeman, Miss King, & Mrs. Meyer for attending the @DSAGC Buddy Walk this weekend to support our students. Putting the LOVE in Loveland is the #beLOVEland spirit we talk about!
Help out the LHS Spirit Club
The Loveland High School Spirit Club is hosting a fundraiser at the Loveland Raising Cane's at 3901 Montgomery Rd. on Tuesday, September 20, from 3-8 pm. Grab dinner, mention the LHS Spirit Club, and Cane's will donate 15%. Easy! #beLOVEland

School Meals Reminder
The pandemic universal free lunch program has come to an end. This year students will be required to pay for lunch or breakfast. Funds can be added to your student’s account through PaySchools Central by following this link. Students will pay with their student ID number at the checkout. We encourage families to fill out the application for free and reduced lunch through Payschools Central at the link above. In addition to free or reduced-price meals, qualifying may also lead to having student fees waived.
