Greetings from your Franklin Career Consultant!
Only a few weeks left in the school year! As you all begin to focus on your last big test and upcoming final exams, keep in mind that the Career Center is here for you! And with a new month comes new opportunities to attend an upcoming event, join us for walk-in hours, or schedule a last minute appointment with me at the Career Center. Check out some of this month's career-related events below.

Why should I attend?
- Over 160 employers from all industries such as ***CDIC, CyroLife, Shire, Chem-Aqua, NEETRAC (GA Tech), MEDITECH, Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Georgia Department of Public Health***
- Largest collaborative career fair in the state
Am I eligible to participate?
- Only students and alumni from the list participating schools may attend (UGA is a participating school)
How can I attend?
Bring your school ID or a driver's license and a copy of your resume with your GACE member school listed to get in the doors! We will keep the copy of your resume at registration, so please make sure to bring several copies of your resume for employers!
Can I pre-register?
Pre-registration is available, but not required to attend. On-site registration will be available and all participants, regardless of pre-registration status, must check-in at the Student Registration Desk prior to entering the fair.
Which companies will be attending?

Participants are encouraged, but not required, to download the Career Fair Plus app which contains the most up-to-date employer listing along with valuable event information, tips for preparation and event map. Once in the App, search for the "GACE Statewide Career Fair".

Exhibit Hall A, Cobb Galleria

Enter through the main rotunda and go up the escalator. There will be clear signage directing you to the GACE Statewide Career Fair.

Career Assessments 101: Interests
Date: April 10, 2018
Time: 3:30 pm until 4:30 am
Location: Clark Howell Hall, Multi-Purpose Room 246
Open to all students at UGA—this workshop can be applied to major and career exploration. In this interactive workshop, you will learn about your interests and how they relate to majors and careers. Please bring a printout or screenshot of your results in order to participate.
The Right and Wrong Way to Network
Date: April 10, 2018
Time: 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm
Location: Miller Learning Center, Room 171
This workshop allows students to improve their networking skills by teaching them proper networking etiquette and best practices when it comes to networking with potential employers.
Career Assessments 102: Personality
Date: April 11, 2018

Open to all students at UGA—this workshop can be applied to major and career exploration. In this interactive workshop, you will learn about your personality and how this relates to majors and careers.
