COVID-19 Protocols
The COVID-19 protocols webpage is now live at http://www.ltschools.org/covid-19. This page has replaced the Re-Entry page on the district website and will house the most current information pertaining to the COVID-19 pandemic as it relates to the MSD of Lawrence Township. While they may appear similar at first glance, the new page reflects the most current guidance and protocols from the Marion County Public Health Department, the Indiana Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). A graph of new Return to School guidance for students was provided this week by the Indiana Department of Health and is included below for your review.
Symptoms were also updated by the CDC to include:
- Fever above 100 º F when taken by mouth
- Sore Throat
- New uncontrolled cough that causes difficulty breathing (for students or staff with chronic allergic/asthmatic cough, a change in their cough from baseline)
- Diarrhea, vomiting, or abdominal pain
- New onset of severe headache, especially with fever
- Loss of taste/smell
Please do not send your child to school if they exhibit any of the above symptoms.
Thank you for your patience, your flexibility, and your commitment to the MSD of Lawrence Township.
