Walnut ASB Holds Multicultural Assembly

Today, our ASB crew held a Multicultural Assembly during the school day. We had performances from our Chinese Club, Swing Club, Polynesian Club, Latin Alliance Club, Korean Club, Halo-Halo Club, Anime Club, and Martial Arts Club.

The purpose of the assembly was to bring an entire school together with a shared message of celebrating the diverse cultures we have on our campus.

Lastly, as we close out Black History Month the words of Martin Luther King Jr. continue to echo in our society as he said "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Let us continue to experience other cultures, choose to love others, and invest in our community.
