American Education Week
Greetings Raider Nation --
This week is American Education Week. Invitations have been extended to parents to use this opportunity to visit and observe what happens in the classroom. Please be sure to have a place for set aside should you receive any visitors. Additionally, please be extra vigilant in checking for visitor tags and stopping anyone who does not have proper credentials.
If you did not have an opportunity to see Atholton’s Fall Play, It’s A Wonderful Life, A Live Radio Play, this weekend, you still have a chance this coming weekend – Friday and Saturday at 7pm.
Thank you to those who submitted feedback about our Raider Time procedures. As we begin a new week, the sign-up will open again tomorrow. Second period teachers are asked to take time on Monday or Tuesday to have their students sign-up to ensure that everyone has a designated place to go.
Lastly, today is Veteran’s Day. This is a day where we take time to reflect and respect our brave men and women for what they have done for our nation in times of peace and in times of war. From the Army to the Air Force and to the Navy and Marines and to those in other service areas as well, we have these courageous people who renounce their own safety for the protection of our freedom and let us live in peace. Please be sure to recognize and thank a veteran today!
I hope you had a great weekend.
