Rohypnol is a drug that is prescribed to slow down and relax the central nervous system and other muscles. It is classified as a depressant and a schedule IV drug.

Is Rohypnol legal?

No, Rohypnol has never been approved for legal medical use by the Food and Drug Association in the United States. It is illegal to manufacture or sell now, but it had a medical purpose as a sleeping pill at one point. This is why it is classified as a schedule IV drug. Furthermore, Rohypnol is not gone by any means, Rohypnol is legally produced and sold in other countries.

What are the Legal Penalties if caught with, or selling Rohypnol?
