Call Outs and Communication for Rising Freshman
All students must provide their Student/Parent Laptop Usage Agreement form and the student usage fee to receive a Macbook.
Student usage fees can be made online with a credit/debit card using this link from July 6-August 12, or by cash, check or money order with the campus book keeper from July 6 until their campus deployment date. Cash, checks or money orders will be taken on the deployment date as well.
No credit/debit card payments will be accepted after August 12
No computers will be distributed to students without the paid fee AND the signed Student/Parent Laptop Usage Agreement found in the One 2 the World Handbook.
Laptops, power cords and a backpack will be issued to students on their campus deployment date and checked out to them through the library circulation system.
Student Assurance Fees for Sophomore Students
We will follow this process for collecting Sophomore payments unless anyone has a strong objection otherwise:
- Open up the payment window during the timeframe of September 8-October 9 (including online payments)
- Advertise and communicate to students and parents
- Asset tags will be recorded on a shared form (see below) for each campus when payment is made- this is necessary to update the Destiny system and generate reports and could be done by the student on a laptop station when they make their payment so as not to add another step for the bookkeeper.
- If damage is done to the device during the window and prior to the student paying their fee, they would pay their fee prior to the repair being done.
- Student/Parent agreement would not be a requirement since it was signed in the fall (and the AUP is always in place)
- Students not paying will be reported through the Destiny library system and placed on the campus “hold list”.
- Payments will be recorded periodically in Destiny based on information from the campus shared forms and finalized at the semester.
