Data we use in math models
The stem and leaf plot is like an organizing data chart. like the one below. In the 10'ss and 100's place will be on the left side and the ones place to the right. We can use range, mode, median, and mean. Range is the distance of the biggest number to the smallest number. Mode is the number that shows more often. Ex: 72 showing 2 times. Median is crossing out all the number till you get to the middle. Mean is adding all the numbers then dividing by all the numbers. Ex: The total is 64 then divide by 4. A Circle graph is a graph with percentages and subjects on it. like the one below. The Circle graph can show how many people like but in percentages. The circle graph can show the percentage of people that voted but not the actual number of the votes. Bivariot is a group of numbers like multiple test taken and every ones grade seperatly. Univariot is 1 number like the average or a grade for the class or class average.
