Hello,
It is so hard to believe we are at the end of the school year. Thank you so much for an amazing year and your continued support. Your child’s growth and success at school would not be possible without you! We hope you have a wonderful summer with family and friends! Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions over the summer!
Please read below for end of the year dates and important information!
Penny Drive:
-Thank you so much for your participation in the penny drive! We raised over $250.00 to give to the Nebraska- Make-A-Wish Foundation! We really appreciate your generosity!
End of the Year Academic and PBIS Assembly:
-We will be having an academic pep rally next week and had our final PBIS assembly today! The Elm Creek Foundation and Bauer Underground helped provide various prizes to hand out at the academic assembly. We really appreciate their support in celebrating our students! Students who showed growth and improvement, met growth goals or exceeded growth goals on both the NSCAS Growth (state assessment) and MAP Growth have received Superstar Tickets. These tickets will all be placed together at the end of the year and students will be drawn for various prizes. The prizes vary from small to large and include bubble wands, water balloons, slip n slide, and even a scooter. The students are very excited about the opportunity to win a prize from all of their hard work! We are excited to celebrate all of our accomplishments in the last week of school!
Elementary Last Day: Wednesday, May 24th
The 6th graders have been planning an exciting day of activities at the park to help celebrate our last day of school! There will be minimal water activities involved, but please help your child dress appropriately for some games and activities at the park for a short period of time throughout the last day of school! We are excited to celebrate all of our growth!
Last Day of School and Lunch at the Park: Wednesday, May 24th
-This is a full day of school!
-Come join us at the park for lunch with the students.
K-2 will eat from 11:00-11:30
3-6 will eat from 12:00-12:30
MAP Growth Reports and Report Cards:

Summer School:
-If your child was invited and committed to summer school, he or she will receive a letter with reminders!
Summer Resources for ALL:

Heggerty:
Heggerty’s Summer Support lessons give parents, tutors, and summer school staff FREE access to high-quality phonemic awareness lessons straight from our NEW 2022 Editions of the Heggerty Phonemic Awareness Curriculum.
Thinking Ahead to Next Year:
-A postcard will be sent home around the end of July with your child’s teacher for the next school year. We will post on our facebook and send a message through our app!
-There will be a 6th transitioning to 7th grade orientation closer to the beginning of the school year.
-We will start the school year in our current building and hope to move over to our new building in September. We will be communicating with you as it gets closer! What an exciting year it will be closing out so many memories in the current school and building new ones at our brand new school!
